Mexican Robotics Tournament 2025
Registration Process
If you registered your institution last year, you can use the same account to register your teams for this edition, thereby skipping some registration steps. The registration process is the same as TMR2024. If you did not register your institution for TMR 2024, you will need to create an account and follow the steps below:
To register for TMR 2025, it is necessary to register your institution. Registering the institution does not incur any additional cost beyond the registration fee. This is an additional step required to have a more precise control over categories with a limit on the number of teams per institution, as well as to have clear statistics on the number of participants from each institution in all categories.
The registration of the Institution and teams must be carried out by one person, preferably a teacher or administrative staff who will be the point of contact for this registration and who will be able to register teams in future events. This person will also be the only one authorized to register teams from that institution.
If necessary, more information about the institution will be requested in order to catalog it in the correct registration classification. If you have any questions about registering the institution, please write to us at soporteregistro23@gmail.com
For those who registered their institution for TMR 2024, the data will appear preloaded in the system. However, if an Institution Validation Document was uploaded, it must be updated with the date of this year.
Institution Registration
The registration of the institution will be slightly different for institutions with official accreditation (secondary schools, high schools, universities, research centers) compared to robotics schools. For institutions with official accreditation, the “Institution Validation Document” is an official document that certifies the full name of the institution, as well as the campus being registered (where applicable). These can be:
- Official document issued by an educational authority provided it includes the name of the institution and campus.
- Teacher’s credential provided it includes the name of the institution and campus.
For robotics schools, depending on the type of representation, the following must be attached:
- For robotics school-campus (branch): A letter on the school’s letterhead specifying the name of the school, campus, address, contact, and main phone number, signed by the campus director.
- For robotics school-educational institution: A letter on the school’s letterhead specifying the name of the school, campus, address, website, social media, contact, and main phone number, signed by the campus director. It should also mention the institution it represents and attach one of the “Institution Validation Documents” mentioned for institutions with official accreditation.
If necessary, more information about the institution will be requested in order to catalog it in the correct registration classification. If you have any questions about registering the institution, please write to us at soporteregistro23@gmail.com
Registering the institution does not incur any additional cost and is mandatory for:
- Controlling categories with a limit on the number of teams per institution.
- Obtaining precise participation statistics.
For institutions registered in TMR 2024, the data will be preloaded, but it will be necessary to update the “Institution Validation Document” with the current date.
Complete Procedure
- Institution Registration: Complete the required data for pre-registration. Validation can take up to 72 hours. The registration will be open until 48 hours before the closing of registrations, after which institution registrations will not be accepted.
- Team Registration: Enter the data for each team and member (competitors, team leaders, and mentors/advisors). Participant validation can also take up to 72 hours, and after that, changes in the number of members are not allowed.
- Payment: Once the information is validated, make the payment via PayPal, bank transfer, or bank deposit. The registration is considered complete when the corresponding payment is received.
- Invoicing: Register the tax information in the system after the payment validation.

- RCJ OnStage/Primary: Maximum 2 teams.
- Beach Cleaners: Maximum 2 teams.
Important Considerations
- Make sure to complete the registration before making the payment.
- Edits are not allowed in the system.
- Falsifying information will result in disqualification.
Detailed Observations and Considerations
Please complete and submit the registration of all your teams and team members before making your payment or deposit. Depositing any amount without having the registration and deposit key does not guarantee a fee level or a spot in the tournament.
Note: Registration periods may close if the event or category capacity is exceeded.
Teachers accompanying the team who wish to receive a diploma recognizing their participation in the event can register as mentors. Please note that mentors are not allowed in the competition areas, so they do not occupy a workstation. Therefore, mentors are not counted towards the team member limit.
For team members: the age and number limits of members are validated according to the characteristics of each sub-league. For example, the Major categories do not have age limits, but the Junior categories require participants to meet the conditions indicated by RoboCupJunior (see the official RCJ site). For TMR, the age of mentors in RoboCupJunior categories must be at least 20 years old by July 1.
Participants and mentors must attach a document proving their date of birth. Examples of valid documents are: the CURP certificate in PDF format (which can be downloaded from the CURP Queries site), IFE/INE or passport; any official document with the participant’s name and date of birth is valid.
In TMR, we have categories that are highly in demand by participants. To ensure diversified participation from institutions, we need to limit the number of teams per institution in the following categories:
For participants of RoboCup Junior and Beach Cleaners teams:
It is necessary to attach a valid school ID or a certificate with a photo issued by the educational institution. The IDs are expected to be physical and must include at least the name of the institution and campus, the student’s name, photograph, validity period, grade, and group. 50% of the team participants must belong to the represented Educational Institution (Extracurricular activity students will not be considered as enrolled students of the institution). If the institution has different campuses or sites and the ID does not specify which one it belongs to, a study certificate or a letter issued by the director is required, listing the participants and certifying that they are enrolled students and are pursuing their official studies at that institution and campus.
In the case of robotics schools, the valid ID or a certificate with a photo issued by the institution where the student conducts their academic studies (primary, secondary, high school, university) must be attached. IDs from robotics schools are not valid for this field.
As in previous years, for categories with team limits per school, the institutions or robotics schools that have 50% or more students from another educational institution that has registered or will register teams in the same category will apply the corresponding team limit, giving priority to the educational institution.
After April 5, it will not be possible to edit any team or participant data. If you have any registration-related issues, you can only write to the email indicated at the beginning of this screen, explaining your problem. If you pay and there is no room for the team, the deadline for refund requests is April 25
