General description
The Mexican Robotics Tournament® (TMR) is associated with various international competitions, among which is the Latin American Robotics Competition (LARC) of the IEEE. Annually, the TMR supports the winning team of the LARC Standard Educational Kits (SEK) to represent Mexico in the Latin American Robotics Competition.
Within the LARC, every two years a new challenge is proposed based on real problems and that must be solved exclusively with official parts from a single standard kit for robot development. Currently there is a large number of educational kits, the most used in this competition are the Lego brand kits. If you have an educational kit from another brand, please contact the technical managers to confirm that the kits meet the requirements to be able to participate. in the competition.
Restrictions
To participate in LARC SEK, teams of a maximum of 4 people can register. Team members must be undergraduate students or any previous level of education.
Teachers who accompany the team and who wish to have a diploma that recognizes their participation in the event may register as mentors. The registration cost for mentors is the same as that for contestants. Because LARC SEK is a competition for students, mentors are not assigned a place at the team work table and are not allowed to assist their students during the competition.
