Lunar Rover
Take your talent to new horizons and live a
exciting challenge in space exploration!

General information
Lunar rovers play an important role in preparing for future human missions to the Moon. By studying the lunar surface, scientists can identify potential resources, assess terrain conditions, and better understand the challenges astronauts might face on future missions.
The construction and operation of lunar rovers involve the development and testing of advanced technologies that can then be applied to future missions, whether on the Moon, other planets, or asteroids. This drives innovation and advances in space technology.
The Mexican Robotics Tournament is pleased to invite all robotics enthusiasts of celestial body exploration to participate in the first edition of the category: ‘Lunar Rover,’ where they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in constructing and operating autonomous and remotely controlled mobile robots.
Participants will have the task of designing and building a rover capable of navigating, collecting samples, and carrying out various tasks in an emulated lunar environment.
By competing, teams will be able to showcase their skills to an audience of experts and space enthusiasts. They will also have the opportunity to learn about aerospace exploration, interact with other teams, and network with professionals in the field.
