The Mexican Robotics Federation and the Universidad de Las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) are organizing for the first time the 1st Mexican Conference on Intelligent Robots (MEXCIR) 2025 to foster the development of robotics and to gather enthusiasts and professionals from different communities to discuss the challenges of intelligent robots.
This event, together with other initiatives such as the Mexican Robotics Tournament and the Winter School of Robotics aims to promote the science and innovation behind the robotics field at both, national and international levels.
The Mexican Robotics Federation has organized since 2008 the Mexican Robotics Tournament and, since 2015, the Winter School of Robotics. Now, for the first time, we call authors to submit scientific and technical manuscripts focusing on applications of intelligent robots in any of the following topics:
Uncrewed Vehicles Domestic Service Robots Humanoid Robots Self-Driving Cars Rescue Robots Navigation Manipulation Task planning Human Robot Interaction | Perception Computer Vision for Robotics Sensors and actuators for robots Control for robotics Signal processing for robotics Machine learning in robotics Education in robotics Ethical aspects of autonomous robots Regulations and legal aspects |
The manuscripts must be written in English with a minimum length of 12 pages and a maximum of 25 pages. A single-blind review process will be carried out to accept these manuscripts for publication.
Accepted manuscripts will be published as chapters of the book “Handbook of Intelligent Robots: Theory, Methods and Applications“ with ISBN 9781041079798 that will be edited by the Mexican Federation of Robotics and published by CRC Press from the Taylor & Francis Group.
VERY IMPORTANT: For an accepted chapter to be included and published in the book, at least one author must register for the conference and deliver a presentation on-site, as the conference aims to foster networking among academics, industry professionals, and government representatives.
Submission Guidelines:
Chapters should be prepared using the latex template available here.
