Overview<\/strong>
The goal of the international RoboCup initiative is to develop a team of humanoid robots that is capable of winning against the official human team that is the world champion of football until 2050. In a sense, the RoboCup challenge is the successor to the chess challenge for artificial intelligence (a computer beating the human World Chess Champion) that was solved in 1997 when Deep Blue won against Garry Kasparow. Currently, there are several different RoboCup soccer leagues that focus on different aspects of this challenge. The Humanoid League is one of the leagues with the most dynamic progress and the closest to the goal of 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Humanoid Standard Platform League<\/strong>
Standard Platform League is a RoboCup robot football league, in which all teams compete with identical robots. Robots work completely autonomously, that is, there is no external control, neither by humans nor by computers. The current standard platform used is the humanoid NAO from Aldebaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case of not having a sufficient number of participating teams, an exhibition match will be held, the format of the match will be established by common agreement of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is necessary to use the established NAO platform of Aldebaran Robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
