By studying the lunar surface, scientists can identify potential resources, assess terrain conditions, and better understand the challenges astronauts might face on future missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The construction and operation of <strong><em>lunar rovers<\/em><\/strong> involve the development and testing of advanced technologies that can then be applied to future missions, whether on the Moon, other planets, or asteroids. This drives innovation and advances in space technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Mexican Robotics Tournament<\/strong> is pleased to invite all robotics enthusiasts of celestial body exploration to participate in the first edition of the category: <strong>&#8216;Lunar Rover,&#8217;<\/strong> where they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in constructing and operating autonomous and remotely controlled mobile robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will have the task of designing and building a rover capable of navigating, collecting samples, and carrying out various tasks in an emulated lunar environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By competing, teams will be able to showcase their skills to an audience of experts and space enthusiasts.
