In this, teams of 2 against 2 autonomous mobile robots play games on a closed mini-soccer field, searching for a ball and trying to send it to the corresponding goal, or defending against the opposing offensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robots built exclusively by participants must be completely autonomous; In addition to observing them in play, they will be examined in their construction, technical design and programming, seeking to ensure that the tournament champion is the one with the best balance between all these elements. Participants must be able to give the best of their programming, robotics, electronics and mechatronics skills, but they must also contribute to teamwork and share their knowledge with other participants, regardless of their age or the result in the competition. Everyone is expected to compete, learn, have fun and grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within this category it has two physical subleagues<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/junior.robocup.org\/rcj-soccer-lightweight\/\">Soccer lightweight<\/a>:  Subleague for all members between 14 and 19 years old on July 1. They are played with a well-balanced electronic ball. The ball emits infrared (IR) light in the so-called &#8220;pulsed mode&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/junior.robocup.org\/rcj-soccer-open\/\">Soccer open<\/a>: For all team members between 14 and 19 years old on July 1. They are played with an orange golf ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Restrictions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RCJ Soccer teams must consist of at least 2 members and up to a maximum of 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The age is considered as of July 1 of each year for the RoboCup world championship, and therefore also for the Mexican Robotics Tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each contestant can only be registered in 1 single team, sub-league and league in all of RoboCupJunior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Team limits per institution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each institution can register the following number of teams for each Junior sub-league:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maximum 1 team per sub-league in Rescue Line and Rescue Maze<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum 2 teams per sub-league in all Soccer and OnStage sub-leagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of teams will not be limited in Rescue Simulation (formerly CoSpace)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The institution that has obtained first place in each sub-league of the last tournament (TMR2023) and has sent its participation report in RoboCup obtains the right to register one more team in that same sub-league. You must register the additional team and its members, and before completing the pre-registration, send an email to regtmr@femexrobotica.org indicating the name of the team that you wish to have this right applied to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rules for the RoboCupJunior Soccer 2024 competition are published on the RoboCupJunior international site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These rules can be found at https:\/\/junior.robocup.org\/soccer\/.
