Autonomous University of Nuevo León

The Autonomous University of Nuevo León is a higher education institution with 90 years of history, considered the third largest public university in Mexico and which has the largest educational offering in the northeast of the country.

Its main coverage is in Nuevo León and the surrounding states. Among its locations, six university campuses stand out: Ciudad Universitaria, Health Sciences, Mederos, Agricultural Sciences, Sabinas Hidalgo and Linares, which make up a total of 26 faculties and 29 high schools.

It currently offers 359 educational programs at the upper secondary, higher and postgraduate levels, with these programs serving more than 216 thousand students, under the advice of 6 thousand 894 teachers.

Its educational model promotes the comprehensive training of students and is based on two structural axes: education focused on learning and education based on competencies; an operational axis: the flexibility of educational programs and processes; and three transversal axes: academic innovation, internationalization and social responsibility.

TMR 2024 at the UANL

The 2024 Mexican Robotics Tournament will be held on the Ciudad Universitaria campus. The activities will be distributed in the facilities of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Chemical Sciences.
