This competition pushes teams to develop solutions to problems including: navigation over uneven terrain, sensing the environment, picking up and delivering objects, intuitive control and autonomous behavior, and represents an intermediate step between RoboCupJunior Rescue and RoboCup Rescue Robot.

The Rapidly Manufactured Robot Challenge competition is based on the official rules published for the RoboCupRescue, which can be found at the following link:
