Torneo Mexicano de Robótica 2024

Lunar Rover

Take your talent to new horizons and live a
exciting challenge in space exploration!

General information

Lunar rovers play an important role in preparing for future human missions to the Moon. By studying the lunar surface, scientists can identify potential resources, assess terrain conditions, and better understand the challenges astronauts might face on future missions.
Building and operating lunar rovers involves developing and testing advanced technologies that can then be applied in future missions, whether to the Moon, other planets, or asteroids. This drives innovation and advances space technology.

Participants will be tasked with designing and building a rover capable of navigating, collecting samples and carrying out various tasks in an emulated Moon environment.

By competing, teams will be able to demonstrate their skills before an audience of space experts and enthusiasts. They will also have the opportunity to learn about aerospace exploration, interact with other teams and network with professionals in the area.
