GENERAL INFORMATION
The AutoModelCar category seeks to encourage the development of perception, planning and control algorithms for driverless vehicles. The vehicles participating in this category are 1:10 scale models equipped with sensors and actuators similar to those that would be found in a real vehicle. The direct antecedent of this category is the project “Visions of urban mobility”, directed by Dr. Raul Rojas, from the Free University of Berlin. In the first editions, participation was only allowed with vehicles granted to various institutions within the framework of this project, however, this year participation with open platforms will be allowed as long as the restrictions described in the rule book are met. .
MODALITY
Due to the conditions derived from the health contingency, and with the idea of providing the participating teams with more options, this year this category will be developed in two modalities:
- In person
- Virtual
Because both modalities present different challenges and levels of difficulty, both modalities will be evaluated separately, that is, there will be prizes for the first places in each category separately.
Information for both categories will be available at:
https://github.com/FemexRobotica/AutoModelCar-Presencial/
RESTRICTIONS
