CALL TEAM PARTICIPATION
16th INTERNATIONAL MICRO AIR VEHICLE CONFERENCE AND COMPETITION
Teams from all around the world are welcome to submit an application to participate in the Indoor and Outdoor Competitions of the 16th International Micro Air Vehicle Conference and Competitions.
Given the high number of teams around the world that have shown interest in taking part in the competition, we kindly ask teams to fill out and submit a Google Form before June 29th, 2025.
The Organising Committee will review all applications and select the best teams based on their competition records. This information should be included in the application form, along with public links to videos (e.g., Google Drive, YouTube) showcasing the team’s performance. A list of previous awards and publications will also be considered in the selection process.

IMPORTANT: Upon acceptance, teams must prepare a Technical Description Paper (TDP) describing their intended solution to address the competition. If a team decides to participate in both, the indoor and outdoor categories, then a TDP must be prepared for each one of these categories. Teams will also be required to submit an inventory of major electronic equipment (e.g., computers, multimeters, monitors, WiFi routers), MAVs and any other gear that ought to be declared before the customs office upon entering Mexico.
Accepted teams will be required to present the work described in the TPD in a poster session during the welcome reception on Monday afternoon. The venue will be announced soon. The TDP should. have a minimum of 8 pages and up to 10 pages. An award will be given to the best TDP and an additional prize to the Best Poster Presentation.
Teams must use the conference template, which can be downloaded from the conference website at: Paper submission
Teams are encouraged to include their ORCIDs in their TDP. The TDP should be submitted electronically through the Microsoft CMT
The title of the TDP must follow the format “TDP: Team’s name (Country), Indoors | Outdoors Category”
For instance, for the team QuetzalC++ from Mexico, the TDP’s title would be: TDP: QuetzalC++ (Mexico), Indoors Category
